We all spend time and money marketing our sites, but without
knowing the geographic profile of our site traffic,
that effort could be wasted. Careful analysis of the
information in your log files can give you lots of marketing
ideas, and also help you determine which ones live up to their
promise.
With GeoLyzer you can quickly process any delimited
data files that contain either IP addresses or Host names and
update them with the geographic locations. View
a Geographically Customized Log File.
GeoLyzer allows you to immediately
understand the geographic location of your web site traffic. Based on this
information you can then
-
improve your visitor retention rate
-
improve your sites usability
-
provide relevant content to your visitors
-
effectively target your marketing efforts
-
achieve better closure rates
Focus your marketing
GeoLyzer provides you with the information you need to know in
order to determine how best to market your website.
For example, let's again take the case of your local real-estate company
. They have
made a modest investment in a web site, put up a few photos, featured a few properties,
and for the most of it tried to show everyone everything because they have no
way of currently determining which cities, states or countries their visitors
come from. And even if they did know they don't have a way of dynamically changing their site to meet the needs of the viewer.
This lack of knowledge is costing them sales, and for the most of it, has
resulted in a not so wildly profitable site.
Now let's image that they use GeoLyzer to process their log
files. They now know the geographic profile of their web site.
Take this a step further and incorporate this new found
knowledge with the power of GeoSelect. They now know where their
visitors come from and they can dynamically customize their web
site to meet the needs of their visitors. Suddenly their website
becomes a very powerful and potentially profitable tool.

GeoLyzer now supports both 'command line operation' and 'batch
mode'.
GeoLyzer now supports wildcards in the 'source file' name. This means that
you can now pass it a source file of c:\logs\*.txt or even just a directory
like c:\logs\
The presence of a wildcard in the source file name will cause GeoLyzer to
run in batch mode. When running in batch mode, GeoLyzer will try to
interpret the 'target file' as a directory and will create this directory if
necessary. It will then place the processed files in the 'target directory'
using the same file names as the original files. Batch Mode can be used in conjunction with the command line options,
or can be used in GUI mode by entering a source file name containing a
wildcard.
Why GeoLyzer? GeoLyzer does not use DNS lookups or
rely on the Whois databases. GeoLyzer uses our proprietary IP
address to geographic location database to determine the
visitors location (see GeoNetMap for more information on the
database behind this product).

be!
How do I get started?
To get started, all you need is a $49 developer license. Once you are
ready to take the site operational in a commercial environment, then you'll find
our server licenses to also be very attractively priced.
