I've been using Geobytes/GeoReport for about a year now and I
can testify to its usefulness. I am a small outfitter/ guide in
Manitoba Canada. I was forever wondering where people were when
they were surfing to my internet site.... well I've been not
only able to identify from where people were surfing to my site
but I've also been able to tailor my marketing strategies to
increase business overall. Knowing where people are visiting
from allows you to focus your advertising dollars more
efficiently on those particular geographical markets that are

The GeoRemote feature has created a lot of interest with members at our three sites, and with members asking how to be featured on our home page. I definitely have noticed an increase in revenue. It gives our members the opportunity of extra exposure.
We are also now getting more registrations from other countries - as they can see instantly that
the site is relevant to them and not a site just focused on the USA
ie more from Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa.
Previously we only received registrations from USA, UK, Canada and Australia.

I have visited your IP address URL. Its accurate, fast and
interesting. Now I know the exact location [Latitude and
Longitude] more precisely as well the Pakistan's map.
I also took a tour of GeoSelect. Although I am not a web
developer I find it very informative. I will definitely
recommend the GeoSelect site to some professional.

Today I have tested our website to see if the redirection is working as I need it to and it is doing fabulously! This is great for our business, we can now gear the site for different countries without having to worry about maintaining a database for the different IPs.

I am a cartoonist and have a mailing list that people sign on
to to receive notification of new cartoons. The mailing list
provider I use provides the ip address of my subscribers. I
enjoy being able to see where my subscribers are coming from, so

I will however give you a rather good testimonial.
I get very high quality traffic, although low in volume, it does result in a high signup ratio.
I inadvertently removed the Geophrase from one of my sites last week.
My conversion ratio was rather high, then went to zero.
It was only after I replaced the Geophrase that my signups have gone back to 1:27
